Loyola’s AMA Case team reaches the finals in the AMA National Case Competition

Loyola’s AMA Case team again reached the final eight in the AMA National Case Competition.  This is an annual national competition conducted by the American Marketing Association where student teams are challenged to prepare a marketing plan for a sponsoring company facing an actual problem.  This year's competition is sponsored by McGraw Hill Higher Education. As part of the digital exploration, McGraw-Hill Higher Education plans to launch an ecommerce portal allowing students to purchase McGraw-Hill Higher Education textbooks and study aides direct. AMA case teams are challenged with developing marketing plans to drive students to this ecommerce portal.

Loyola’s case team has had great success in the AMA Case Competition.   In its past eleven years in this competition, Loyola has won first place in the nation two times, second in the nation three times, and third three times.  The American Marketing Association is the nation’s largest professional association for marketers.  Besides its 30,000 professional members, AMA has collegiate chapters at over 400 universities.
