  • TECTONIC SOUND, Founder - 2005 to present. Overview: Created multi-dimensional resource for emerging artists. Innovations include facilitating efficient content creation and establishing fractional revenue/royalty streams in order to increase visibility for artists.
  • DISC USA, Director - 2004 to present. Overview: Strategic advisor with focus on business development for this large CD manufacturing firm. Instrumental in developing strategic partnerships with various major and independent labels including Sony, Disney, and Concord.
  • NEW PARADIGM MUSIC PUBLISHING, Director - 2004 to present. Overview: Handle all business affairs need for this emergent publishing company, including drafting all contracts as well as negotiating deals.
  • ARTISTS HOUSE/HERB ALPERT FOUNDATION, Senior Editor - 2004 to present. Overview: Work closely with Artists House foundation and Herb Alpert foundation to create a comprehensive resource for aspiring musicians and music industry professionals. Responsible for creating and editing all educational content, as well as contributing to technology and media content.
  • RYKODISC, President - 1999 to 2003. Overview: Oversaw all aspects of this large independent record label with $20 million in annual revenues, staff of 50, and offices in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, England (London) and Canada. Areas of focus included signing of artists, contracts and legal affairs. Worked closely with board of directors, bankers, attorneys, distribution company, publishing companies, media, artist managers, art directors, promoters, and booking agents. Oversaw daily business operations including financials and staffing, and served as teacher / mentor for key staff.

  • SLOW RIVER RECORDS, Founder/CEO - 1992 to 1999). Overview: Founded influential record label. Developed international marketing and distribution arrangements for cutting-edge artists.
  • INDEPENDENT RECORD/VIDEO PRODUCER - 1992 to present. Overview : Produce widely sold and respected records by such artists as Kelly Joe Phelps, Josh Rouse, Jess Klein, Chuck E. Weiss, and Voices on the Verge. Current projects include producing several Richard Lewis DVDs and CDs, Cape Breton Fiddle Christmas CD, and a Billie Holiday CD of her radio performances.
