Nikhil has over 7 years of middle to senior level business experience. He ran his own small business of education consulting for 4 years in India and Australia . He has also worked as part of the senior management team of two venture capital funded start-up ventures in online and distance education in India . In addition, he worked in the area of international marketing and business development for a software consulting firm and has also been a consultant to the World Bank and the British Council for distance education programs.

Research Interests
I consider myself an international business and strategy researcher. My research currently focuses on the international disinvestments of large multinational companies and in particular their downsizing initiatives. I also have an interest in small firm internationalization and new venture internationalization of firms from both developed and emerging economies.
