Rebuilding New Orleans
Business by Business
Person by Person

In the aftermath of Katrina, some businesses and agencies have struggled to survive while others have experienced new business opportunities. Loyola University wants to be a resource to these businesses and agencies, and help rebuild New Orleans.

Across Loyola University New Orleans’ campus, students, alumni, nationally recognized colleges, and award-winning centers have joined forces to create Loyola Corps, your entrance to business and non-profit support at Loyola.

  • Approximately 150 volunteers including undergraduates, MBAs and alumni
  • Student Organizations such as Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), Public Relations Students Society of America (PRSSA), Delta Sigma Pi, Beta Alpha Psi, and the Association for Computers and Machinery (ACM) are volunteering
  • Currently working with 55 companies
  • Working with eight non-profits
  • Eight class and organization projects are taking place
  • Support services range from intern and staffing issues, to loan assistance, and to business plan development
We can help you with temporary employees, create class projects around your needs, and much more. Our well-educated “human resources” want to help New Orleans’ local businesses and agencies to rebuild and recover.
