Our Mission
The purpose of the bachelor of business administration degree in marketing
is to provide students with s fundamental understanding of the marketing
process and how this process integrates with the other functional areas of
business. Emphasis is placed on developing marketing strategies and plans
for various customer segments, environments and conditions. Students should
appreciate the implications that marketing decisions have on a firm’s
internal and external constituencies.
Learning Objectives for Marketing Graduates
- Marketing graduates will be able explain current marketing practices and
concepts. - Marketing graduates will be able to apply strategic marketing concepts in
a realistic or simulated marketing environment. - Marketing graduates will be able to plan and evaluate systems for
customers input before, during and after production and distribution of a
product or service. - Marketing graduates will be able to construct a coordinated marketing plan
that shows the ability to assess the competitive environment and integrate
all the marketing mix areas. - Marketing graduates will be able to judge the implications of their
proposed marketing strategies on internal and external constituencies of a
firm based upon alternative value-structures.
