Financial Aid

The College of Business offers two types of financial aid to its prospective students: graduate assistantships and scholarships. The university’s Financial Aid Office, www.loyno.edu/financialaid , is available to help you with FASFA forms, private loans, grants, and other financial aid opportunities.

Graduate Assistantships

Graduate assistants work closely with one or more business professors on academic research, grant administration, and special event planning. Several of our recent graduate assistants have co-authored publications with professors.

These are hourly paid positions, where you are considered a part-time employee of the university. Assignments are determined based on the merits of students applications (GMAT scores, GPAs, and work experience), as well as skill sets and interests. Graduate Assistantships Application forms can be found with the on-line application

Additionally, some departments throughout the university request business graduate assistants for help with research, consulting services, and special projects support. These are also paid positions, and the College of Business connects the departments to appropriate students for matches.

Scholarships

The College of Business offers a few tuition remission scholarships to a select group of MBA candidates. These scholarships are based on academic merit, considering the student's GPA and GMAT score. All MBA applicants are considered for scholarships as they submit a completed application. No special forms are necessary.
